Focus on What You Need, Not What You Want

This post is short and sweet. First and foremost, I strongly encourage you to think about and answer the following questions in your own time. "What are your current needs?" "What are your current wants?"

"What does focus on what you need, not what you want means to you?"
"Do you put your needs first before your wants?"

No one is perfect. We all make mistakes in life. I know we all have breaking points throughout life. I also know we all have our own challenges, our own difficulties, our own fears, own strengths, our own trials, our own weaknesses, our own struggles, and much more.

"Did you understand that you have each of those things in your life?"
"If you answered yes, how much did you really understood?"
We may not be aware to acknowledge that we all have each of those things in our lives. Heavenly Father knows all of our challenges, all of our difficulties, all of our fears, all of our strengths, all of our trials, all
of our weaknesses, all of our struggles, and much more. We don't always get what we want straight away, we all need to work together to focus on our needs first.

If we focus on our needs first, it would make us feel happier. Our needs can be something to do with our education, our long-term career, our backup career, our health, exercising regularly, our spiritual focus,
and much more. In order to achieve to get what we want, we all need to work hard to achieve it.

For an example, if I wanted a holiday in New Zealand, I would need to pay for the airfares, I would need to set some money aside for spending and there are other things to the list other than just having a holiday in New Zealand.

Always remember to focus on what your needs are first, not what you want.

Please follow Heavenly Father's Plan and not Satan's.

Each of us has a plan for this life. Heavenly Father has a plan and Satan has a plan too.

I promise you one thing if we do follow Heavenly Father's Plan; we will feel happiness often, we will feel comfort often, we will feel peace often and great blessings will come when we are striving to be obedient and striving to do what is right.

I promise you one thing if we do follow Satan's Plan; we will feel sadness often, we will feel hurt often, we will struggle, we will feel down and not as great blessings will come to us. The choice is ours. We can strive our best to follow one plan or the other. We need to choose wisely.

It is normal to feel down at times, it is normal to struggle, it is normal to feel hurt at times, it is normal to feel comfort when needed it is normal to feel happiness, it is normal to feel sadness. Always remember everything does have a purpose in life to test us.

I encourage everyone to follow and striving their best to Heavenly Father's Plan, not Satan's. I want everyone to feel joy, happiness, comfort, and receive great blessings. You can start your way to follow Heavenly Father's Plan today, it isn't too late. It doesn't matter how old you are.
I love the Image above. If you can't see the Image above, it says "Don't let your DISCOURAGEMENT make Satan rejoice. - Marvin J. Aston."

I strongly encourage you to remember the quote often, I think it will be a great quote for motivation. I also strongly encourage you to think about, ask and answer the following question in your own time. "What can you do right now or today or this evening to make better choices in life?"

You can do it.

This post is short and sweet. First and foremost, I encourage you to think about and answer the following few questions in your own time. "What do you do when you are about to give up?"
"What does never quit means to you?" and "What does you can do it means to you?"
I love the Image above as a motivation to continue to follow my dreams and goals. If you can't see the Image above, it says "Never quit. If you stumble, get back up. What happened yesterday, no longer matters.
Today's another day so get back on track and move closer to your dreams and goals. You can do it."

Do you love the Image? Do you have any favourite part for the Image? If so, what was it?
Why is it your favourite part?

If you were to ask me the same three previous questions, I would have said, "Yes I do have a favourite part of the Image, I love the part that mentioned, "If you stumble, get back up." It is my favourite part because I know that whenever I am stumbling, I have to keep getting myself up especially whenever things aren't going the way that I wanted it to happen. I know it is a great life lesson."

Always remember this, "Do not let anyone stop you from following your dreams and goals. Always strive your best to focus and follow your dreams and goals."

How to save your heart?

First and foremost, it was amazing for me to see my previous post has reached more than one hundred and fifty views because it makes me so happy. This post is short and sweet. I encourage you to think about and answer the following questions in your own time. "What do you save your heart?" and "How do you it?"
I love the Image what it says above and I agree with it. If you can't see the Image above, it says

"How to save your heart

Should: never expect
              never demand
              never assume

Know: your limits
             where to stand
         your role

Don't: get affected
          get jealous
            get paranoid

Just: go with the flow
         and stay happy."

Do you agree with anything that has mentioned in the Image? What section do you love the most from the Image? I don't know what else should I mention for this post, just always remember some or all what the Image says whenever you can.

Discouraged and Happiness

This post is based on two major feelings that I have felt today. You may want to have some tissues near you because this post may make you cry. I must admit, I do consider this post as a very heart touch type of post. This post is long. I hope you will find some spare time to read this post and I would like to share with you some parts of what happened today.

Where do I start?

I woke up early, feeling excited and happiness because I was looking forward to see one of my relatives who I love so much and I haven't seen over a month. When I arrived at a place, I filled out my details on a form and finding out that I filled out the wrong form. I eventually got the right form and filled out my details.

After filling out the right form, I was so excited. When I find out the form that I have filled out wouldn't be processed for another two to three weeks, I was feeling a little discouraged. The exact moment when I find out that I wasn't be able to see that relative until the form has been processed, I was so discouraged.

I cried so much and my Mum who was by my side tried to cheer me up. My Mum allowed me cry, and cry and she hugged me. After saying my bye's to my Mum, I walked to her car and I was still crying. I decided to call my neighbour, so I did and she didn't answer. My neighbour called me back and she tried to cheer me up by talking to each other for awhile.

I immediately went out of the car, I took my bag with me and it had my scriptures, my phone and other personal belongings inside. When I sat down a nice seating area, I opened my scriptures and allowed the wind to turn the pages. I kept reading random scripture verses.

I prayed to Heavenly Father and mentioned "Please help the woman to cheer up soon. What can I do to help her to cheer up soon?" I opened my scriptures again and allowed the wind to turn the pages. A page was opened to a good page. I read the page and I found a great scripture. The scripture said "I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me."

The scripture is found in Philippians; chapter 4, verse 13. I decided to use my phone, so I logged onto Facebook and shared that scripture as a status. I closed my scriptures. I decided to look what other things do I have in my bag, and I found two spare tissues. I walked and gave a tissue to the woman who was crying. She said "Thanks."

We talked a little. Then I walked back to where I was sitting. I opened my scriptures again. I looked through some pages to find something. In my mind didn't know what I was looking for but Heavenly Father knew exactly what I was looking for. I found something. I found a perfect print out quote to give to the woman who was crying.

I walked to the woman who was crying and gave her a print out quote. The quote said, "Keep loving. Keep trying. Keep trusting. Keep believing. Keep growing. Heaven is cheering you on today, tomorrow, and forever. - Elder Jeffrey R Holland." She thanked me for the quote and we talked a little while.
I walked to a different direction and think "what else can I do to help?" I decided to walk back to the woman who was crying and decided to talk to her. I became a new friend to her. She loved the quote. I asked her if she would like my phone number to stay in contact and she said "Yes."

We both have each other's phone numbers. We talked for another thirty minutes or so. When I mentioned to her that I am a Latter-Day Saint/Mormon, she was so happy because straight away, she told me that she used to be a Mormon and married a Mormon. My goodness. I was so happy. I did Missionary Work!!!

She wasn't waiting for anyone, she was waiting to stop crying so she can drive home without crying. I was still waiting for my Mum and the woman's name is Donna. When my Mum and Donna met, she told my Mum something great about me, I was so happy to hear it.

My Mum asked Donna if it was alright to receive a hug from my Mum. We ended up doing a huge group hug. I learned two lessons today. One of the lessons was, "Knowing things was so discouraged at first, knowing that I have no current church calling in my ward, Heavenly Father helps me to find ways to do missionary work whenever I am away from home."

The other was "Heavenly Father needed me somewhere else to stop feeling discouraged to start feeling happiness and become a Member Missionary to a less active who I have met today!" I love the Image that I have shared for this post and if you can't see that Image, it says "Never forget that your Heavenly Father loves, & cherishes you."

Accepting the Lord’s Will and Timing

This post is based on an article that I love from this month's issue of Liahona, called "Accepting the Lord's Will and Timing" by Elder David A. Bednar. I would like to share with you some favourite parts that I loved while I was reading the article.

"Scriptures concerning the Savior’s suffering as He offered the infinite and eternal atoning sacrifice became even more poignant and meaningful to me. I believe most of us likely would expect a man with the spiritual capacity, experience, and stature of Elder Maxwell to face serious illness and death with an understanding of God’s plan of happiness, with assurance and grace, and with dignity.
“Not My Will, but Thine, Be Done”
We recognized a principle that applies to every devoted disciple: strong faith in the Savior is submissively accepting of His will and timing in our lives even if the outcome is not what we hoped for or wanted. Righteousness and faith certainly are instrumental in moving mountains if moving mountains accomplishes God’s purposes and is in accordance with His will.

Righteousness and faith certainly are instrumental in healing the sick, deaf, and lame if such healing accomplishes God’s purposes and is in accordance with His will. Thus, even if we have strong faith, many mountains will not be moved. And not all of the sick and infirm will be healed. If all opposition were curtailed, if all maladies were removed, then the primary purposes of the Father’s plan would be frustrated.

Many of the lessons we are to learn in mortality can be received only through the things we experience and sometimes suffer. And God expects and trusts us to face temporary mortal adversity with His help so we can learn what we need to learn and ultimately become what we are to become in eternity.

The Meaning of All Things

You are facing, have faced, or will yet face equivalent challenges in your lives with the same courage and spiritual perspective ..

I do not know why some people learn the lessons of eternity through trial and suffering while others learn similar lessons through rescue and healing. I do not know all of the reasons, all of the purposes, and I do not know everything about the Lord’s timing. With Nephi, you and I can say that we “do not know the meaning of all things”  (1 Nephi 11:17).

But some things I absolutely do know. I know we are spirit sons and daughters of a loving Heavenly Father. I know the Eternal Father is the author of the plan of happiness. I know Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. I know Jesus enabled the Father’s plan through His infinite and eternal Atonement. I know the Lord, who was “bruised, broken, [and] torn for us,”2 can succor and strengthen “his people according to their infirmities” (Alma 7:12). And I know one of the greatest blessings of mortality is to not shrink and to allow our individual will to be “swallowed up in the will of the Father” (Mosiah 15:7).

Though I do not know everything about how and when and where and why these blessings occur, I do witness they are real. And I know that as you press forward in your lives with steadfast faith in Christ, you will have the capacity to not shrink."

No Matter Where You Are

This post is short and sweet. First and foremost, I encourage you to think about and answer the following question in your own time. "What does no matter where you are means to you?"

This post is based on a song that I love called "No Matter Where You Are" by Us The Duo. If you haven't the song before, I strongly encourage you to listen to the song in your own time. You may want to listen to the song over and over again because it is really good song to listen to.

Below is a video clip to the song.
If you can't see the video above, here's the link below.

If you have listened to the song, did you have a most favourite part and a least favourite part while you were listening to the song?

I would like to share with you, my most favourite part of the song. My favourite part is shown as an Image below. I hope you will like it.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "No matter where you are, I'll be there"

I always strive my best to be somewhere where someone needs me to comfort him or her when things goes wrong. I always strive my best to be somewhere where someone needs me to help him or her to cheer up.

I always strive my best to be somewhere where someone needs me to help him or her out. I always strive my best to be somewhere where someone needs me to talk to them.

Don't Be Afraid

First and foremost, I encourage you to think about some examples of don't be afraid in your own time. I also encourage you to think about and answer the following question in your own time.
"What does don't be afraid means to you?"

If you were to ask me the same question, I would have shared with you some examples of don't be afraid and I would like to share with you three examples.

Don't be afraid to try a different way of doing things even the simple and small things. I would like to share with you an example. You can try a different way of controlling your anger better towards something when that something doesn't work out the way you expected it to.

Don't be afraid to express your honest and true feelings to Heavenly Father each day and each night.
Don't be afraid to get out of your comfort zone to make new friends. Always remember, new friends can either last short time or a long time or for a lifetime.
I really love the Image above and I fully agree. If you can't see the Image above, it says "Don't be afraid to become the person you want to be just because people are watching."

Many times in our lives, we need to get out of our comfort zones, it can either be a good decision that we ever make or not. When things are going down, we should not let ourselves down. We all need to self-motivate ourselves that everything will be okay soon and we need to strive our best to stay positive.

When things are going great, we should let ourselves be happy and cheerful. We should share our excitement with others. Always remember don't be afraid.

If you ..

This post is short and sweet. I don't have much to say and share for this post. I encourage you to think about and answer the following question in your own time. What does if you .. means to you? I really love the Image below and I agree what it says.
If you can't see what the Image above says, it says.
"If you understand others, you are smart. If you understand yourself, you are illuminated.
If you overcome others, you are powerful. If you overcome yourself, you have strength.
If you know how to be satisfied, you are rich. If you can act with vigor, you have a will.
If you don't lose your objectives, you can be long-lasting.
If you die without loss, you are eternal."

I don't have anything else to say. I encourage you to think about other if you ..'s in your own time.

The Challenge to Become

I am fully aware that it has been awhile since I last post. It has been awhile because I have been so busy. I encourage you to think about and answer the following question in your own time.
"What does the challenge to become means to you?"

This post is based on an October 2000 General Conference talk that I love and it is called "The Challenge to Become" by Dallin H. Oaks. I would like to share with you some highlights while I was reading the talk.

He mentioned,

"Many Bible and modern scriptures speak of a final judgment at which all persons will be rewarded according to their deeds or works or the desires of their hearts. But other scriptures enlarge upon this by referring to our being judged by the condition we have achieved.

From such teachings we conclude that the Final Judgment is not just an evaluation of a sum total of good and evil acts what we have done. It is an acknowledgment of the final effect of our acts and thoughts what we have become. It is not enough for anyone just to go through the motions.

The commandments, ordinances, and covenants of the gospel are not a list of deposits required to be made in some heavenly account. The gospel of Jesus Christ is a plan that shows us how to become what our Heavenly Father desires us to become.

Jesus’ challenge shows that the conversion He required for those who would enter the kingdom of heaven was far more than just being converted to testify to the truthfulness of the gospel. To testify is to know and to declare.

The gospel challenges us to be “converted,” which requires us to do and to become. If any of us relies solely upon our knowledge and testimony of the gospel, we are in the same position as the blessed but still unfinished Apostles whom Jesus challenged to be “converted.”

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the plan by which we can become what children of God are supposed to become. This spotless and perfected state will result from a steady succession of covenants, ordinances, and actions, an accumulation of right choices, and from continuing repentance.
“This life is the time for men to prepare to meet God” (Alma 34:32).

Now is the time for each of us to work toward our personal conversion, toward becoming what our Heavenly Father desires us to become. As we do so, we should remember that our family relationships even more than our Church callings are the setting in which the most important part of that development can occur.  The conversion we must achieve requires us to be a good husband and father or a good wife and mother.

We are challenged to move through a process of conversion toward that status and condition called eternal life. This is achieved not just by doing what is right, but by doing it for the right reason for the pure love of Christ. The Apostle Paul illustrated this in his famous teaching about the importance of charity.

The reason charity never fails and the reason charity is greater than even the most significant acts of goodness he cited is that charity, “the pure love of Christ” (Moroni. 7:47), is not an act but a condition or state of being. Charity is attained through a succession of acts that result in a conversion.

Charity is something one becomes. Thus, as Moroni declared, “except men shall have charity they cannot inherit” the place prepared for them in the mansions of the Father (Ether 12:34; emphasis added).
Like other parables, this one can teach several different and valuable principles. For present purposes its lesson is that the Master’s reward in the Final Judgment will not be based on how long we have labored in the vineyard. We do not obtain our heavenly reward by punching a time clock.

What is essential is that our labors in the workplace of the Lord have caused us to become something. For some of us, this requires a longer time than for others. What is important in the end is what we have become by our labors. Many who come in the eleventh hour have been refined and prepared by the Lord in ways other than formal employment in the vineyard.

These workers are like the prepared dry mix to which it is only necessary to “add water” the perfecting ordinance of baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost. With that addition even in the eleventh hour these workers are in the same state of development and qualified to receive the same reward as those who have labored long in the vineyard.

This parable teaches us that we should never give up hope and loving associations with family members and friends whose fine qualities (see Moroni. 7:5–14) evidence their progress toward what a loving Father would have them become. Similarly, the power of the Atonement and the principle of repentance show that we should never give up on loved ones who now seem to be making many wrong choices."

I encourage you to read the whole talk in your own time, Here's the link below.
