All Responsibilties Starts in the Home

This post is short and sweet. I must admit for the past few days has been a little different to my schedule from last week. I am serious. I have been planning a lot better and planning back up plans a lot better. I have been slowly to become the best person who I can be.

For the past few days including today, I have been helping my Mum. She has asked me to drop off my two siblings who still lives at home to take them to their schools. My first day, I failed because I love my sleep ins and I totally forgot.
When my Mum finished work that morning and after she arrived home after work, I felt discouraged and I decided to hug her. I encouraged myself to say that I was so sorry. Sometimes it is not easy to show that I am truly sorry other than seeking forgiveness through personal prayers.

I learned that I do have a responsibility and that was to drop off my two younger siblings to their schools because my Mum has work in early mornings. I encourage you to always remember your responsibilities in the home and all responsibilities starts in the home.

Take responsibility to either cheer someone up who is feeling down, help someone if you see someone is moving into their new home, help someone if they need help with transport to places, and many more ideas.

I promise you if you do take responsibility, you will feel a happier person.

Happy Birthday Christine

This post is short and sweet. Today is one of my close friends's Birthday today. My close friend's name is Christine. I still remember meeting Christine for the first time. Christine told me the other day what was her first impression when she first met me and she thought that I was a Returned Missionary because I have so much knowledge and understanding about the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Christine,
if you are reading this post right now, I would like to wish you a Happy Birthday and I hope you had an amazing day.
I love talking to you about anything, I love talking to you via long phone calls often, I love texting you and I love messaging back and forth with you via facebook messages. The longest phone call has over three hours and it makes me so happy that you are one of my close friends.

Again, Happy Birthday and have a great day.

Keep Reading the Scriptures

This post is based on scriptures. First and foremost, I would like to encourage you to think about and answer the following questions in your own time.

"What is your honest purpose while you are reading the scriptures?" "Do you read the scriptures for direction?"
"Do you read the scriptures for seeking unanswered questions?" "Do you read the scriptures with real intent?"
"What is your understanding about the scriptures?" "Do you have a lot of understanding about the scriptures?"
"Do you have a little of understanding about the scriptures?"

"What does the scriptures mean to you as an individual?" "Does the scriptures mean a lot to you?"
"Does the scriptures means a little to you?"

"What does the scriptures means to your family?" "Does the scriptures means a lot to your family?"
"Does the scriptures mean a little to your family?"

"How often do you study the scriptures?" "When was the last time did you studied the scriptures?"
"Was it this morning?" "Was it this afternoon?" "Was it this evening?" "Was it a few days ago?"
"Was it a few weeks ago?" "Was it a few months ago?" "Was it a few years ago?"

"When was the last time did you take the time and read the scriptures?" "Was it a few days ago?"
"Was it this morning?" "Was it this afternoon?" "Was it this evening?" "Was it a few days ago?"
"Was it a few weeks ago?" "Was it a few months ago?" "Was it a few years ago?"

I encourage you to read the scriptures for one page or read the scriptures for at least five minutes a day. If you do read the scriptures for one page or read the scriptures for at least five minutes a day, you will feel that you would like to continue reading the scriptures more often and learn how to appreciate the scriptures more in your life.

We can liken the scriptures to our lives. The scriptures was written for our day/the last days. Always remember to pray to invite the spirit to be with you before reading the scriptures because it makes more meaningful while you read the scriptures and you will learn something new.

Do Not Ever Self Doubt Yourself

First and foremost, I am not amazing, I am a human being like you. Heavenly Father is amazing. Heavenly Father kept making me feel so much happiness, he also kept comforting me whenever I am feeling down, he also kept teaching me new life lessons including the little ones, he also kept ensuring me to know that I am not alone whenever I am physically alone and so on.

This afternoon, I had almost one hour sleep because I was feeling very tired and I did not want to think about food. It was Fast Sunday. After almost one hour sleep, my Mum woke me up and told me that the home teachers are here. At first, I complained a little bit because I was still feeling so tired.

After I spoke to the home teachers, I was not able to go back to sleep and I started to think about what I would like to achieve for the remaining of this day to this evening. Complaining is definitely one of my current weaknesses that I need to work on. I need to stop complaining.

I self doubt myself because I thought I did not have enough fuel in my car to go to a Young Single Adult fast breaker. I contacted two inactives Young Single Adults in my ward to invite them to come along to the Fast Breaker and they mentioned that they were not able to come.

I also have contacted two active Young Single Adults in my ward to invite them to come along to the Fast Breaker and they mentioned that they are not going either. I knew three other Young Single Adults who active in my ward were not able to go because of family commitments. I was starting to feel a little frustrated. It is okay to feel frustrated at times.
I have been informed via text messages that Forest Lake Ward Young Single Adults was having a Fast Breaker this evening but it is about forty minutes drive east away from home, I also have been informed via text messages that my stake Ipswich West Stake YSAs was also having a Fast Breaker but it is about thirty five minutes west drive from home.

Luckily, I was able to contact one of my great friends and the moment when she eventually sent me a text message of the address to her ward Young Single Adult Fast Breaker, I was very happy. Her ward Young Single Adults Fast Breaker was about fifteen minutes north drive from home.

I learned to not self doubt myself, and I know that I rarely self doubt myself at times. I know whenver I do self doubt myself, I do also feel discouraged and feel down.

I strongly encourage you to do not self doubt yourself in things that you do not think that you can achieve things, because when you have faith and trust in Heavenly Father, you are able to achieve things.

If you can not see the Image that I have shared for this post, it says "Don't ever doubt yourself. You can do anything you put your mind to. All you have to do is believe in you. - Jenny Charbonneau, Teen Girl Life Coach."

A Very Good Week

I thought this post is going to be short and sweet. First and foremost, I encourage you to think about and answer the following questions in your own time.

"When was the last time did you experienced a very good week?" "Was it this week or has it been a few weeks or so?" "What do you consider a very good week?" and "When you have a very good week, how does it make you feel?"

This week was a very good week to me because I have achieved many great things during this week and that makes me so happy. I love using my time wisely, being productive and keeping busy. Each day during this week has been involved a lot of SERVICE.
If you can not see the Image above, it says "By Love Serve One Another."

Some highlights during the week:

Monday:
During the daytime, it was spending time with both Camira Ward Sisters and Goodna Ward Sisters on their pday.
During the evening, it was attending a Family Home Evening at a members home/a family with the Goodna Ward Sisters.

Tuesday:
During the daytime, it was taking Camira Ward Sisters to be dropped off in their area, also going out with the Goodna Ward Sisters for going to their Zone Conference and I learned a lot. During the evening, I attended a Baptistry Session and then I attended Institute.

Wednesday:
During the daytime, I did five hours service project with both Camira Ward Sisters and Goodna Ward Sisters and it was fun teaching a non-member English with the Forest Lake Ward Elders.

Thursday:
During the daytime, it was taking my two younger siblings who still lives at home to help with transport to their schools and helping next door neighbour with getting her shopping done.

I would like to encourage you to think about and answer the following questions in your own time.
"How was your week?" "Did you have a most favourite day during the week?"
"Did you serve anyone during the week?" "Did you go to the Temple during the week?"
"Did you achieved a lot? It is alright if you did not achieved a lot, always next week to do better."

Please keep yourself busy, keep striving your best to become a better person than you were yesterday,
keep smiling, keep praying, keep going, keep making new plans, keep making new back up plans,
keep looking up, keep making new short term goals, keep making long term goals,
keep looking up, and so on.

Kind

This post is short and sweet. I encourage you to think about and answer the following questions,
"What does the word kind means to you?" "Do you like striving your best to be kind to everyone?"
"Do you speak kind words to everyone who you meet for the first time?"

This post is based on a song called "Kind" by Jenny Philips. The vocals is by Brooke Stone. The song is in EMBARK In the Service of God ablum; Songs for Young Women. I would like to share with you my favourite parts while I was listening to the song.

"So much hurt, so many heartless words in this world.
Too much pain, too many souls who ache needlessly.

We need more tenderness. Oh, how this world needs. More thoughtfulness,
more words filled with gentleness. Let the Savior's love inside your heart.

It's part of who you are. You were designed to be kind.

Chorus:

Kind when wronged. Kind to enemies.
Kind to conflict. Kind when you are weak."
If you can not see the Image above, it says "BE KIND. For everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."

We all need to be kind to our loved ones who we do not get along with.
We all need to be kind to our enemies and need to be kind to our friends.

Start being kind today! I encourage you to listen to the whole song in your own time if you can find the whole song.

SERVICE

Service makes me feel happy. Does service makes you feel happy? I miss using my time wisely with a lot of service lately. I miss helping the Forest Lake Elders, helping the Goodna Ward Sisters, helping the Camira Ward Sisters and helping the Karana Downs Ward Elders. I would like share with you what was my highlights for today.

When I woke up this morning, I felt like I did not want to stay at home because I was used to a new routine of being away from home for the most of the day. It was not until around 1pm when I left home for today and I drove to the mechanics because the fan belt of my car needed to be tightened and it was free to fix.

While I was waiting for that to get done, I was thinking and writing some plans for the remaining of this week and all plans for next week. I decided to call next door's neighbour to see if she would like to go to the bank, go to the library, get her shopping done, and get other things done. She said "Yes."

The moment when she said, "Yes," I was filled with happiness because I was looking forward to do more service. My fuel for my car was half-full when I picked up the next door's neighbour. We went to the bank at Riverlink, then we went to the department of transport in Ipswich, then we went to the Ipswich Library for one hour and ten minutes, then we went to Drakes/Super IGA at Yamanto, and then we went home.
While we were at the local Library; we both used the computers, I was able to contact my Mum's parents to find out if they can look after my brother after school and I was able to contact my brother's school's office to say to my brother to go to my Mum's parents after school. The next door's neighbour was able to do a few other things.

She was suggesting that she would like to get only cheese at a local supermarket. I told her I would be happy to drive elsewhere to go to the supermarket that might want to change her mind about buying one item. It amazes me so much that while I was doing service by providing a lift for the next door's neighbour and helped with the shop, it made me happy.

I strongly encourage you to help someone, it can be anyone starting from today. You can help brighten someone's day by visiting him or her. You can call a friend that you have not spoken to for a long time, you can go and volunteer at a local nursing home, etc.

If you can not see the Image that I have shared for this post, it says "By giving SERVICE to others, I give SERVICE to God."

Five Hours Service Project and Helping in Other Ways

This post is another long post like the previous post. This post is based on some highlights of my day today and my evening tonight. It was all about service! I had a massive day today and long evening this evening. I set alarm to wake up around 9:20am, but I was woken up early around 8am by my Mum because she has other plans and she would like me to take and drop off my two younger siblings to their schools.

At first, I was not happy about it but not long after I said my personal morning prayer, I felt glad that I woke early because I was able to achieve so much today. After saying my personal prayer, I read a few sections of The Doctrine and Covenants. I did not have a proper breakfast, oops.

After dropping off my two younger siblings to their schools, I went to a job agency where I have to go every two weeks to report my job search for two weeks and I arrived super early. I arrived around one hour earlier than my set time for my appointment. After walking out of the appointment, I received a phone call from Forest Lake Ward Elders, a phone call from my Dad, a phone call from Camira Ward Sisters and Goodna Ward Sisters.

Please do not call me Miss Popular. Hahaha! I am serious because all phone calls was not long, it was about three minutes to five minutes each. I spent five hours service project with Camira Ward Sisters and Goodna Ward Sisters to help cleaning at a non-members's family home. It was fun! Before the service project, we had prayer and a scripture that is found in Doctrine and Covenants, Section 88: verse 119. We were all listening to church music as we were cleaning the house.
Another highlight was eating pizza and drinking softdrinks (soda) for lunch. After spending time with the Sisters, I started heading my way to Forest Lake Ward Boundaries. The Forest Lake Ward Elders called me and it was fun to have a conversation with them because I was lost and they were able to assist a little about what to do.

After the phone call, I did not prayer for direction. I tried to use my old phone as a GPS and it did not work. I felt down because I kept taking the wrong turns, I was getting annoyed and I wanted to cry. I did not like arriving at appointments super late even if it is a little late. I called the Forest Lake Ward Elders.

I expressed to the Elders that I was lost. The Elder answered the call, put his companion on to give me direction of how to get to their appointment. I was arriving super late. When I eventually arrived, I felt peace and felt relief. Thanks to the Forest Lake Ward Elders so much for directing me how to get to their appointment. The appointment that the Elders went to teach was a nonmember family and the background of the family is not English, it is Iraq (Middle East, Asia).

One Elder was helping a young girl with her math, the other Elder was helping a teenage young woman with her literacy and I was helping a young boy with his reading and sight words. It was so much fun! Afterwards, a Elder encouraged the teenager to read the first page of The Plan of Salvation pamphlet. It was wonderful to understand that she was striving her best to read in English.

I was able to share a brief testimony about The Book of Mormon that it relates to our day, when we start reading it, we would like to read more, etc. Sometime after that appointment, Elder Winter has thanked me for sharing my testimony and complimented about my testimony, He mentioned my testimony was short but powerful which makes me feel so good inside that my testimony was powerful. This evening, I was looking after my two younger siblings.

That is all for now. If you can not see the Images that I have shared for this post, it does not mention anything. It just shows three photos that was taken today. Top photo is me and Alexis. Bottom Right is me wearing a hat.

Bottom Left is me and Sister Li - she is one of Goodna Ward Sisters.

Blessings plus Miracles equals happiness and joy

I would like to share with you some of my highlights about what I have been doing for the past few days. I have witnessed a lot of Blessings and Miracles. I have been so busy with focusing on Missionary work.

Both Camira Ward Sisters and Goodna Ward Sisters does not have the use of a car.

On Sunday afternoon; I was with my current ward Elders to teach an investigator about The Book of Mormon. The questions based around The Book of Mormon from that investigator's friend was amazing. The investigator's friend quickly looked through The Book of Mormon and he decided that he would like to start reading The Book of Mormon before the Elders visit the investigator and his friend again.

On Monday: It was a busy day. I spent the morning with my Mum. Sometime after 1pm, I filled up my car. I picked up Camira Ward Sisters and Goodna Ward Sisters from Goodna, we went to a library for them to email home and of course, I joined with them. Eventually, I dropped them both to their flat and I joined with the Goodna Ward Sisters for Family Home Evening at a members home and the members's background is Tongan.

It was so awesome for the Family Home Evening because there was a non-members's family was present. I shared a few great insights during Family Home Evening. After Family Home Evening, we all had dinner and dessert. Eventually, I dropped Goodna Ward Sisters at their flat and I went to a close childhood friend's house to stay over night.

Today: I woke up after having three hours and thirty minutes to four hours sleep. I had personal prayer and some scripture reading. While I was driving to the Sisters's flat, it was raining and the rain stopped not long after I arrived at there. Camira Ward Sisters got picked up by a van full a Missionaries, it was super crazy thing that I ever seen.

I picked up the Goodna Ward Sisters and I went to their Zone Meeting. It was fanstatic. I really enjoyed the Meeting. I shared a few great Insights. After the Zone Meeting, we had lunch out and then sometime after that, we went back to the flat. Camira Ward Sisters was back. I dropped off the Goodna Ward Sisters and I picked up the Camira Ward Sisters.

I was going to take the Camira Ward Sisters to the bus stop, but I have offered them that I will take them to all the way where they are going to track/finding/door knocking. I noticed my fuel kept displaying full as the area where they went for track/finding/door knocking is near Forest Lake Ward boundaries.

My fuel was slowly not being so full after dropping them off. I drove back to the flat and I picked up the Goodna Ward Sisters. We went to visit a few less actives but they were not home. We also went to the Post Office to send something to the Mission Home. Sometime after that, we went back to the flat.

After a long day with providing service for both of the Goodna Ward Sisters and Camira Ward Sisters, I decided to go to the Temple. While I was at the Temple, I was sitting in the Waiting Room and I was holding a spare skirt. I did not fully understand why other than I would like to wear the skirt myself.

I was waiting for about ten to fifteen minutes, I met a young woman named Sarah Williams. She did not have any skirt or wearing any church clothes for attending a session at the Temple. Thank goodness, I had that skirt that I was holding on and I gave it to Sarah to borrow. The skirt perfectly fits her better than it does on me. Hahaha!
Me and her was able to attend a Baptisty Session together. It was wonderful opportunity because the names that I did on behalf, most of the names was immediate family members as sisters. I felt the names that I have done on behalf, has accepted the Gospel and must have waited for so long to be baptised.

After attending the session, I went to Institute. I thought I was running late to Institute. When I found out that I was not running late, I was so amazed and so happy. I learned heaps at Institute and I shared a few great Insights. Sometime after Institute, the teacher who taught the lesson has thanked me for my great insights.

I was so proud of myself. After socialising, arranging plans with the Goodna Ward Sisters and Camira Ward Sisters via text messages and calls and on Facebook for a short two minutes, I decided to go back inside the Temple. I felt so much happy.

As I walked outside the Temple, I seemed to be so happy and filled with so much joy! I learned "I may seem to be tired because of not getting enough sleep but I do know one thing for this topic and that is Heavenly Father always make sure that I have a good night sleep/plenty of rest/wake up refresh in the morning whenever I pray for it to happen."

I eventually decided to go home. As I driving further away from the Temple and about thirty minutes from home, my car did not like me because my fuel was not as a full than it was this afternoon around fifteen minutes before arriving at the Temple and it was on track to go on halfway and I was not happy. Oh well.

I know I will always receive blessings whenever I am striving my best to be exact obedient to Heavenly Father, the promptings of the Holy Ghost, and so on. I know that sometimes I do not acknowledge the blessings straight away because of distractions gets in the way but when the blessings do come, I always filled with happiness and joy.

If you can not see the Image that I have shared for this post, it says "Because I have been given much, I too must give."
