This post is based on my suggestions that I have for all Returned Missionaries including all early Returned Missionaries who recently returned home from his mission/her mission and who has been home from his mission/her mission over than one year. I strongly encourage you to think about and consider doing a few
of the suggestions.
Have you struggled of not sure what to do next since you finished your mission?
Whatever you decide to do after your mission, please do not go back to your old self before your mission. Whatever you decide to do now, please remember all the things that you have learned during your mission.
~ Attend sessions at the nearest Temple from home often - make Temple a priority for seeking some relevations.
~ Take serious things slow and do not rush - some quick relationships leads to quick marriages equals too fast. ~ Attend Institute often - make Institute another priority for making new friendships and for learning.
~ Continue with personal scripture study daily - it helps you to gain a closer relationship with Heavenly Father.
~ Continue with personal prayer daily - again, it helps you to gain a closer relationship with Heavenly Father.
~ Fellowship with some investigators and some recent converts - make them feel welcome to church. ~ Fellowship with some inactives and some less actives - make them feel welcome back to church.
~ Fellowship with some new members to the Ward - make them feel welcome to church.
~ Spend some time with your relatives, especially spending time with your immediate family members.
~ Take some time to adjust to reality and start a new routine/schedule of what to do each day.
~ If you started studying a course before your mission, I strongly encourage you to finish that course.
~ Find a course that you have a passion in and start studying it
~ Find work, apply jobs that you see yourself working at.
~ Look for opportunities to serve others - it can be going out with your ward missionaries and give them some tips.
~ Look for opportunities to serve others such as do your Visiting Teaching or Home Teaching.
~ Go on some dates and getting to know other people when you feel ready to.
~ Do not feel discouraged when things does not go the way you want it to.
~ Go to Young Single Adult Dances, Young Single Adult Firesides, etc to make some new friendships.
~ Read some old General Conference talks - that talks about post mission, etc.
~ Stay in contact with the people who you have met during your mission - it shows that you have not forgotten them.
~ Spend some time with some of your true friends.
~ Use your time wisely - time is very precious.
~ Stay busy
