Temple Work + Missionary Work

I know it has been ages since I last posted. I hope that I will catch up with posting often about what has been happening. I decided from now on, to post my Missionary Opportunities to this blog.

All thanks to one of my closest friends Marah has invited me to go to the Temple. I was able to accept her invitation and attended a Baptistery (Baptisms and Confirmations) Session with her and Sister Missionaries from her ward. It was a good time. Between after the Session to after dropping off Marah at work, it's history. I wouldn't explain into detailed about it.
Marah, me and her Missionaries
I was heading the direction of home, I was thinking about the possibilities of what I will be doing when I go back to the Temple. As I missed the exit for going home, I continued the way to go back to the Temple and I instantly thought a little bit about Missionary Work. I loved a scripture that finds in Mosiah, 2:17 which reads "When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God."

When I arrived back at the Temple, I decided to walk to the Chapel and sit down to reflect my day so far. I was able to have a conversation with one of the Elders and it was good. He told me that he had to go to a Zone District Meeting with other Missionaries that was there. I have chosen to sit somewhere else. I was so glad that I did because I was able one of my friends and her companion. After the Meeting, I saw the Missionaries leaving and I able to get a last goodbye from my friend and her companion. One of the Elders told me "Thank you for offering to help. I wished we had a lesson today."

A different Elder told me that he will come back, during my wait I decided to play to the piano for about 20 minutes to 30 minutes. The Elder didn't come back. As I walked out, I saw my friend and her companion was still at the Temple. I thought they already left. I offered them a ride, they were happy. Her companion Sister Mwea says "We can go now, if you are leaving now." The rest of the day and evening, I spent with the Sister Missionaries. I was the driver, attended all their appointments for the remaining of the day and the evening. I was their driver, saving them from walking and catching the bus.

Sister Burgess, me and Sister Mwea
I learnt so much by spending time with my friend Sister Burgess and her companion Sister Mwea. They are currently serving in Kenmore Ward, Brisbane Stake. One of the major things that I have learnt was "Never estimate of how much the hard work that Missionaries do day to day and night to night." Missions takes a lot of dedication, time, effort and a lot of service.

I was so happy and felt privileged to know how it feels like to be a Sister Missionary. It was a lot of hard work, time, effort and dedication. I encourage you to spend a day or attend a lesson with the Missionaries. Arrange time and organise something with the Missionaries near you. You will able to learn so much from attending a lesson or spending a day with them.
