Day Twenty Five: #lighttheworld

Today marks day twenty five of #lighttheworld. "Jesus’s Disciples Followed Him and So Can We"

When the Savior was born, a new light appeared in the heavens. He is the Light of the World not just on Christmas Day, but every day. Follow Him, and never walk in darkness again.

Today's scripture reference is found in Luke 9:23 and it reads the following; “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”
I would like to share with you a video above about why we need a Savior and I know it is a very inspiring video. I encourage you to watch the video in your own time. If you can not see the video, here's the link to the video below. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ly7c9scxB9I

Today is Christmas Day. I encourage you to think about and seeking answers to the following questions;
"Why do you celebrate Christmas?" "If you do not celebrate Christmas, what do you celebrate instead?"
"Do you celebrate Christmas?" "If you do celebrate Christmas, how do you celebrate Christmas?"

"Do you celebrate Christmas with your family and extended relatives?"
"Do you celebrate Christmas with your friends?"

"Do you remember the birth of Jesus Christ during Christmas season?"
"Do you think about all the presents that you receive on Christmas Day?"

"What does Christmas truly means to you?" "What does Christmas means to your extended relatives?"
"What does Christmas means to your immediate relatives?" "What does Christmas means to your friends?"

"What does Christmas means to your neighbours?" "What does Christmas means to your neighbours' relatives?"

In the world today, there are many people who are celebrating Christmas with their relatives and extended relatives. In the world today, there are some people who are celebrating Christmas alone. there are some people who does not celebrate Christmas.

I know we all can become like Jesus Christ if we choose to follow him. I know when we all choose to become like him, we will feel blessed and I know we will be able to acknowledge ourselves of how much he has done for us. He set continuous great examples. I know we can follow his examples and when we follow his examples, we can share it to others the happiness of the gospel that brings into our daily lives.

It may be hard at times to follow Jesus Christ's examples and that is okay. I know we all can choose to become a light to the world especially to the non-believers. I would like to you to watch the video in your own time.
If you can not see the video above, here's the link to the video below.      www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJmAV0gTp_Q
Merry Christmas to everyone, safe travels if you are traveling on this Christmas Day. Please remember the true meaning of Christmas during this Christmas season. I hope you will have a great day.

Day Twenty Four: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. Today marks twenty four of #lighttheworld. My goodness, is it really Christmas Day tomorrow? Can you believe it?

"Jesus Cared for His Loved Ones and So Can You"

Some of the most touching moments of Jesus Christ’s ministry involved His family and close friends. This Christmas, we can honor the birth of Jesus Christ by following His loving example of serving those who matter most in our lives.

Today's scripture is found in John 11:5-6 and it reads the following;

“5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.

6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.”

I do not know if the Image that I have shared goes well if this post or not. If you can not see the Image below, it says "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day ... unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear."

Well I actually did two Christ-like services last night, so a night early. Oops. So last night, I visited a close friend who I have not seen for awhile and I thought to have a quick catch up with her. I ended up being with that friend for almost two hours and half. It was really good because it has been a few weeks since I last saw her. While visiting her, I gave her a card and mentions a lot about me and her. I know it really cheered her up.

Another one was visiting my next door neighbour, I ordered a late dessert meal, dinner and drink for her, me and my two younger siblings to share. It was good because I know when people are less fortune than I am, really appreciate unexpected surprises and always good to know that I felt good by doing that for her.

Day Twenty Three: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. Today marks day twenty three of #lighttheworld. "Jesus was a Peacemaker and You Can Be One Too"

During the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus Christ taught that peacemakers are called the children of God. We can earn that blessed title when we reach out to others in the spirit of forgiveness, reconciliation, and resolution.

Today's scripture is found in Matthew 5:9 and it reads the following;
“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”
I have shared an Image above and if you can not see it, it says "Blessed are the PEACEMAKERS."

My goodness, my evening was interesting. I would like to share with you one experience that happened tonight and it relates to this post's topic.

While I was working, I noticed my manager was not happy with a customer, he was getting frustrated and he was angry. I know how he felt. I must admit, at first, I did not know what to do because I was not able to find a quiet place to kneel down in prayer to ask forgiveness and soften his heart to change to become happy again.

So during my driving time to delivery to someone's order to their house, I was able to express to Heavenly Father how I felt, ask about forgiveness and change his heart. When I arrived back to one of the stores where I work at, I smiled and showed that I was very happy. I noticed my manager seemed happy again and he was grateful after dealing with that customer.

There is a saying that I like and that is "At times, we do fall short. At times, we do get frustrated at things even the little things. By the end of the day, we can always overcome those times in life by learning and acknowledging what we can do better next time when it happens again."

Day Twenty Two: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. Today marks day twenty two of #lighttheworld. My goodness, can you believe it, Christmas is in three days? Aaah! I am excited but I do not think I am ready for it. I still have to go and do some Christmas shopping.

"Jesus Showed Gratitude and So Can You"

During the Last Supper, Jesus Christ told the Twelve Apostles that they weren’t just His disciples, they were His friends. Think about how those words must have made them feel, and remember that we, too, have the power to raise spirits as we show gratitude to others.

Today's scripture is found in Luke 10:21 and it reads the following;

“In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.”
I love the Image above, and if you can not see it, it says "gratitude changes everything."

I encourage you to think about the following question in your own time;
"In what ways can you apply gratitude in your everyday life?"

Day Twenty One: #lighttheworld

Today marks day twenty one of #lighttheworld. Can you believe it, today has reached three weeks ago since I started doing day/evening by day/evening of #lighttheworld. My goodness, time flies too quickly while I am working and sleeping in on most days. Less than five days left of doing #lighttheworld.

"Jesus Forgave Others and So Can You"

Jesus Christ showed compassion for those who loved Him and even for those who didn’t. On the cross, Jesus asked His Father to forgive those who crucified Him. We, too, can bring light into the world as we follow His example of forgiving others.

Today's scripture is found in Matthew 18:21-22 and it reads the following;

“21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”

I encourage you to think about the following questions;
"When was the last time that you have forgiven someone?" "Was it last night?" "Was it this morning?"
"Was it a few days ago?" "Was it a few months ago?" "Was it a few years ago?" "Was it ages ago?"

"How did you feel after forgiving someone?" "Does it make you feel good inside?"
"Does it make you happy and look forward to move forward?"

I know it is hard to forgive people at times, but we need to forgive each day and each night because it is the right thing to do. I would like to encourage you to forgive others often through your daily prayers and nightly prayers.

I would like you to read the talk or watch the talk that is about a powerful story on forgiveness in your own time. I love the subheading and the subheading says "If we can find forgiveness in our hearts for those who have caused us hurt and injury, we will rise to a higher level of self-esteem and well-being."

Day Twenty: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. Today marks day twenty. "Jesus Saw Potential in Others and So Can You"

The world saw fishermen; Jesus Christ saw Apostles. As we try to see the people around us the way Christ sees them, we can help them understand their potential.

Today's scripture is found in Mark 1:17 and it reads the following; “And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.”

Would you like to know what is our divine potential? If you do like you are one hundred percent certain, I strongly encourage you to click on the following link to find out and of course read it in your own time.
www.lds.org/general-conference/2003/10/realize-your-full-potential

I would like to share with you a little part of the talk that I love and it says,
"You are a precious young man or woman. Realize your full potential. Be the leader and example the Lord expects you to be. Young man, be a part of the greatest generation of missionaries. Worthy youth, prepare to receive the temple ordinances and to raise your eternal family. God loves you. I testify that as you seek His help, He will guide you to fulfill your worthy dreams."

I really love the Image above and if you can not see the Image above, it says "Who are we? We are children of God. Our potential is unlimited."

Day Nineteen: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. Today marks day nineteen of #lighttheworld. "Jesus Calmed the Storm and So Can You"

Jesus understood that life’s storms can take many shapes. Some storms rain down from the sky; other tempests come from within. The Master can calm all storms. When we follow His example, we can be a light in the lives of those going through turbulent times.

Today's scripture is found in Mark 4:37-40 and it is found in the following;
“37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?”

I encourage you to think about the following questions;
"Do you have a seventy two hour/two to three days survivual pack for when a bad natural disaster comes?"
"Are you prepared?" "Are you going to teach your neighbour how to be prepared right now instead later?"
"In what ways can you make sure that you are prepared?"

I really like the video from a link below and I would like you to watch it in your own time because it shows that when there is more helpers/more hands equals less work.

Day Eighteen: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. Today marks day eighteen of #lighttheworld. "Jesus Honored the Sabbath and So Can You"

On the Sabbath, Jesus did His Father’s work as He healed the sick and attended to the needs of His disciples. As we strengthen the quality of our worship on the Lord’s day, we will find that Sunday truly is a day of rest, not just for the body but for the soul.

Today's scripture is found in Matthew 12:11-13 and it reads the following;
11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.”
I love the Image above and if you can not see what it says, it says "Always remember HIM" I know it is important for all of us to always remember the Savior on Sunday.

I always love making new goals, and always when I make goals, I always make sure some of my goals is gospel related. I made goals for me to go to the Temple often, have personal prayers each day and every evening, have scripture reading each day, and many other goals. It is just some ways that I know that if I accomplish of doing those things, I am drawing myself closer to Heavenly Father.

Day Seventeen: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. Today marks day seventeen of #lighttheworld. "Jesus Cared for His Mother and So Can You"

Mary was in Bethlehem to bring Jesus Christ into the world. And as He left the world behind, she was there, as well. In the midst of His deepest suffering, Jesus looked upon His mother with love and concern. He commanded the Apostle John to care for her as if she were his own mother. Today, Christ’s words apply to us, too: “Behold thy mother.”

Today's scripture reference is found in John 19:25-27 and it reads the following;
“25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.

26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!

27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.”

I didn't have a close relationship with my Mum as I was growing up from birth to my mid teens. I started and strived my hardest to have a close relationship with my Mum when I was sixteen years or seventeen years. I know that may seem late but to me, it was not late. It was better to be late than never.

I am very grateful to have a Mum who cares about me, who supports me, who loves me, who supervise me when I was learning how to drive, who I can learn some lessons from her and I am very grateful for many other things.
I like the Image above and if you can not see it, it says "A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take."

Day Sixteen: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. Today marks day sixteen of #lighttheworld. "Jesus Showed Compassion and So Can You"

The most succinct verse in the Bible tells us simply, “Jesus wept.” And yet it speaks volumes about the compassion Jesus Christ felt for others. Like Him, we can respond to suffering with concern, mercy, and healing.

Today's scripture reference is found in Matthew 14:14 and it reads the following;
“And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.”

I constantly pray for people who is aflicted so they can get healed quicker. It is wonderful how prayer works. It is wonderful whenever I pray for asking my sore back to be at ease like not being sore much, it heals. It is a matter of strong faith and trust in Heavenly Father that it will happen.
I really like the Image says above. If you can not see the Image above, it says "If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion. - Dalai Lama."

Day Fifteen: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. Today marks day fifteen of #lighttheworld. "Jesus Worshipped through Song and So Can You"

During the Last Supper, on the eve of the most difficult and trying moments of His life, Jesus sang hymns with His disciples, showing us the strength we can find as we worship through song.

Today's scripture reference is found in Matthew 26;26-30 and it reads the following;

“26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.

30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.“

Day Fourteen: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. Today marks day fourteen of #lighttheworld. Isn't it crazy, it has been two weeks ago since I started sharing #lighttheworld each day? My goodness, time flies while I have been keeping busy in between of updating this blog, updating another two blogs, working at Dominos Pizza, attending sessions at Brisbane Temple once a week and spending some time with my relatives.

"Jesus Taught Us to Clothe the Naked and You Can Help"

Jesus Christ taught that our possessions are most valuable when we give them away especially with His admonition to clothe the naked. Through the act of giving, our clothing can provide the same warmth provided by the swaddling clothes that encircled the newborn King.

Today's scripture reference is found in Matthew 25:38-40 and it reads the following;
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”
I do not have a clue of what Image that goes along well with this post, so I selected a random one. If you can not see the Image above, it says "Smiles are always in FASHION!"

There is another scripture that I really like and it goes perfectly for today's #lighttheworld. The scripture talks about we can learn from a wise king how we should love those in need and the scripture reference is found in Mosiah 4:14-27. I encourage you to read the scripture in your own time and the link of the scripture is below.

Day Thirteen: #lighttheworld

Oops, two posts that has been posted yesterday. I hope you didn't mind. This post is short and sweet. Today marks day thirteen of #lighttheworld. "Jesus Showed Humility and So Can You"

Whether washing the feet of His Apostles or bending under the weight of unimaginable suffering, Jesus Christ showed us that true strength comes from true humility.

Today's scripture reference is found in Luke 22:41-42 and it reads the following;
“41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”

I encourage you to think about the following questions.
"How can you apply humility in your everyday life?"
"In what ways can you show humility to someone who is related to you?"

"In what ways can you show humility to someone who is a friend to you?"
"In what ways can you show humility to someone who is your neighbour?"

I like the Image above, and if you can not see the Image above, it says "Humility isn't denying your strengths, it's being honest about your weaknesses."

Would you agree with what the Image says? What are your thoughts about the Image?

I am Successful!

This post is short and sweet.

What do successful means to you? Did you know that you successful in this life even when you do not think you are?
Have you ever think about you are successful in many things more than you think you are?
What are some successful achievements have you accomplished in this life so far?
I like the Image above. If you can not see the Image above, it says "I am successful in all areas of my life, and every day, in every way, I get better and better."

In life, I am successful in many things and even some things that I thought I won't ever achieve. It has been two years and a few months ago since I obtained my driver's licence. It has been a little over three years ago since graduating High School/Senior, completing some certificate courses and graduating Seminary successfully.

At this present day, I know I am successful and doing well in life because I run my own Photography Business for five months and I am an employee at Dominos Pizza for almost three weeks. I have completed many courses. I always start my day with personal prayer and scripture reading. I always strive my best to have great attendance to go to the Temple often.

I always strive my best to be involved with Missionary work. I dedicate a lot of my time to the gospel a lot because the gospel brings me true happiness!

I encourage you to think about in what ways do you think you are successful in your life for the future.

Day Twelve: #lightheworld

This post is short and sweet. Today marks day twelve of #lighttheworld. "Jesus Taught Others and So Can You"

History’s most powerful lessons weren’t taught in a classroom, but on a hillside, aboard a ship, and along the dusty roads of Palestine. Like Jesus, we can find important teaching moments anywhere all we have to do is look for them.

Today's scripture reference was found in Matthew 5:1-3 and it reads the following;
“1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Day Eleven: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. Today marks day eleven of #lighttheworld. "Jesus Ministered to Children and So Can You"

As we reflect on the babe in swaddling clothes this Christmas, we should also reflect on the actions of the adult Savior, who asked His disciples to “suffer the little children to come unto me.” If He made time for them, so can we.
Today's scripture reference is found in Mark 10:13-14 and it reads the following;
“13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.

14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.”

Day Ten: #lighttheworld

Today marks day ten of #lighttheworld. "Jesus Helped People to Walk and So Can You"

Jesus does not just invite us to follow Him. He gives us the power to do it. In His day, He healed those who could not walk and helped them rise physically and spiritually. Today, we live in a world that offers more ways than ever to assist those living with limited mobility, giving us an unprecedented opportunity to follow the Savior.

Today's scripture is found in John 5:5-9 and it reads the following;
“5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.”
I like the Image above, and if you can not see the Image above, it says "Always walk like you deserve to be right where you are. Black Lapel."

For you to know, I do not know how to walk so I know it feels for people who does not know how to walk. This life is not easy for not knowing how to walk, but I know one day I will be able to walk.

Day Nine: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. Today marks day nine of #lighttheworld. "Jesus Visited the Lonely and So Can You"

Through His words and actions, Jesus taught that “the last shall be first.” With limitless compassion, He reached out to those isolated by disease, sin, and grief. When we strive to ease the loneliness of others, in the Savior’s words, we “have done it unto [Him].”
I like to be alone but I hate being lonely.

Today's scripture is found in Matthew 25:35-36 and it reads the following;
“35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.”

Day Eight: #lighttheworld

Today marks day eight of #lighttheworld. "Jesus Prayed for Others and So Can You"

Some of Jesus Christ’s most enduring words weren’t directed to His disciples but rather to His Father in Heaven as He prayed on behalf of others. As we seek to improve our prayers, we can look to Christ as our ultimate example.

I love Image above and if you can not see the Image above, it says "When you can't put your prayer into words, God hears your heart."

Today's scripture is found in Matthew 6:9-13 and it says the following;

“9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”

I encourage you to think about and answer the following questions in your own time.
"Will you pray for others today?" "Will you encourage someone else to pray for others today?"

When was the last time that you prayed for others who isn't related to you?"
"When was the last time that you prayed for others who isn't your friends?"

"When was the last time that you prayed for your friends?"
"When was the last time that you prayed for your family?"

 "Have you ever prayed for others?" "Do you know how to pray?"

If you do not know how to pray, praying is simple and here's the link below of how to pray.

Day Seven: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. Has it really been a week ago since I started doing #lighttheworld. Today marks day seven. "Jesus Fed the Hungry and So Can You"
When a multitude of thousands gathered to hear Jesus speak, He miraculously turned five loaves and two fishes into a meal for all, leaving none hungry. Today, it is our opportunity to help feed others. Explore the many ways you can help make the Christmas season a feast for everyone.

I will strive my best to invite someone for dinner but most likely it's not going to happen because I will be working this afternoon to this evening. However I did paid fast offering with tithing on Sunday just gone. Today's scripture is found in Matthew 14:19 and it reads the following;

“And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.”

Day Six: #lighttheworld

Today marks day six of #lighttheworld. "Jesus Read the Scriptures and So Can You" - Jesus Christ’s mastery of the scriptures began in His boyhood. When we search the word of God, we can also find inspiration, refuge, and power.

I must admit, I used to be very lack of reading my scriptures daily and I have been reading the scriptures for the last three months and two weeks. It has been great to read the scriptures daily.
Today's scripture is found in Luke 4:16-18 and it reads the following;

“16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.”

I encourage to think about the following question.
"What is your favourite scripture?"

I would like to share with you my favourite scripture. It is found in Doctrine and Covenants, 90:24 and it reads the following; "Search diligently, pray always, and be believing, and all things shall work together for your good, if ye walk uprightly and remember the covenant wherewith ye have covenanted one with another."

Day Five: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. Today marks day five of #lighttheworld. "Jesus Healed the Sick and So Can You"

Jesus Christ had unique empathy for the suffering of others. While many in His day overlooked the sick, Jesus sought them out. Today, we can provide comfort and love to those struggling with physical ailments just as He did.
Today's scripture is found in Matthew 8:2-3 and it reads the following;
“2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”

Today, I will be praying for those are sick and unwell to get better soon.

Day Four: #lighttheworld

Today marks day four of #lighttheworld. "Jesus Worshipped His Father and So Can You" - Though Jesus was praised as a master teacher and miracle worker, everything He did was to glorify His Father in Heaven. Like Jesus, we can worship God to find strength and guidance for everyday challenges.

Today's scripture is found in John 17:1-2 and it reads the following;

“1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.”

I encourage you to invite someone who is not a member of your faith to church service with you. If you do, I have that someone will have a wonderful day. Remember it is a Sabbath Day and remember to keep this day Holy. I also encourage to think about the following questions;

"In what ways can you worship God?" and "In what ways can one of your friends worship God?"
I love the Image above because it is a great quote about Sabbath Day and I hope you like it too. If you can not see the Image above, it says "Keeping the Sabbath Day Holy is much more than just physical rest. It involves spiritual renewal and worship. - James E. Faust."

Today, I will be attending Church in my area.

Day Three: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. Today marks day three of #lighttheworld.

"Jesus Helped Others to See and So Can You." - As the Light of the World, Jesus Christ was born so that no one would have to live in darkness. He miraculously healed the blind, but that’s far from the only way Jesus Christ can open our eyes. Today, there are many ways we can help others and ourselves to see the things that matter most.

Today's scripture reference is found in John 9:6-7 and it reads the following;

“6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,

7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.”
I like the Image that I have shared above about blind. I hope it relates to this post. If you can not see the Image above, it says "The Only Thing Worse Than Being Blind Is Having Sight But No Vision."

I can not imagine myself of being blind. I encourage you to think about the following question,
"In what ways can you help others to see?"

I also encourage you to watch a video about a guy who is blind. The link is www.mormon.org/jasons

Day Two: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. This day marks day two of #lighttheworld. "Jesus Honored His Parents and So Can You" - Jesus Christ is the King of kings, but as a child He loved and respected His earthly parents, Mary and Joseph. As we find ways to honor our parents, we can learn from our parents, just as Jesus did.
Today's scripture is found in Luke 2:46-51 and it reads the following;

 “46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.

47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.

48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.

49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?

50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.

51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart."

Today, I honour in everything what my Mum has said by being obedient.

Day One: #lighttheworld

This post is short and sweet. I have a friendly reminder and that is each day/evening, I will be posting something to do with #lighttheworld. Today marks day one of #lighttheworld.

"Jesus Lifted Others’ Burdens and So Can You" - No shoulders have ever borne as much as those of Jesus Christ. By descending below all things, Jesus put Himself in a position to lift our burdens. When we lend our strength to those who are weighed down by life’s challenges, even the heaviest load can be made lighter.

Today's scripture is found in Matthew 11:29-30 and it reads the following;
“29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

I encourage you to think about the following questions and before watching the following video.
"In what ways can you lift others' burdens?" and "In what ways can you lift your own burdens?"
