Meeting Elder Pearson and Sister Pearson

Last Thursday night was a great evening. I was privilege to meet a Quorum of the Seventy Elder Pearson and his wife Sister Pearson in person after a massive multistake Youth and Young Single Adult fireside.
Left to Right: Sister Pearson, Me and Elder Pearson
I would like to share with you about the notes that I took while listening to Sister Pearson and Elder Pearson talked to everyone at the fireside.

Sister Pearson:
"As long as you looking up with the Saviour, as long as you follow the footsteps to the Saviour, you will be fine. She read a scripture somewhere in Doctrine and Covenants, Section 6.

Make sure that you are tide with the scriptures, Read the scriptures everyday. Kneel down with prayer to ask for guide and learn before scripture study. Try to remember scripture while being young.

Ask yourselves; what will Jesus do? and do likewise. Are you facing the Temple? Have a picture of the Temple and have a picture of the Saviour in your bedroom."

Elder Pearson:
"Chapel is a scared place. Holy Ghost is a member of the God Head, gives revelation, knows our minds, our fears, our hearts, our strengths, ways to learn (what to do next), know how we feel and teaches us one by one.

He shared an experience that he had with a little girl. A little girl was looking through something and it was directed to him. He notices it and the little girl's Mum took away that something from her. Elder Pearson wasn't able to see that little girl again.

What lens are you looking through?
- Look through the lens of the truth
- Eye on faith and of the Holy Ghost
- Witness by witnesses
- Faith is a spiritual gift

What do you see through the lens of the truth? How are you doing for the spiritual lens? Do you believe enough to see?

What do you see first for the lens?
1. Reality of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ
2. You have a divine identity
3. Influences power of agency
Stay Tuned.
