Did You Think to Pray?

I love a hymn called "Did You Think to Pray?"

I know some people who gets too busy with their everyday life and forgets to pray.
I know some people who always makes excuses to pray and forgets to pray.
On some days and some nights, I get very busy and I always make the time to pray.
Satan has his own powers and he has his own plans! I know there are some people just not willing to acknowledge the difference between his powers to Heavenly Father's powers.

Satan's plans is to make people feel miserable for the most of their daily lives.
Satan's powers is to destroy family relationships, friendships, deceive people, etc.

When you pray to Heavenly Father, you can overcome temptations.
When you pray to Heavenly Father, you can feel comfort again.

When you pray to Heavenly Father, you can feel peace again.
When you pray to Heavenly Father, you can feel joy again.

When you pray to Heavenly Father, you can ask for any of our concerns.
When you pray to Heavenly Father, you can ask for guidance.

I love a scripture that is find in Doctrine and Covenants, Section 10: Verse 5 and it reads: "Pray always, that you may come off conqueror; yea, that you may conquer Satan, and that you may escape the hands of the servants of Satan that do uphold his work."

Stay Tuned until next time.

  1. I did think to pray. Prayer can turn the night-time into day. Of course, some days are a bit yuk, but it goes with the territory. Mortal life isn't meant to be trouble-free 24/7.
