How to Keep Yourself Motivated in Difficult Times?

I have been asked, "How to keep yourself motivated in difficult times?" a few days ago. I really loved that question because it was a great question to be asked randomly and that question got me thinking for almost 8 minutes to 10 minutes.

I would love to share with you, my answer to the question in this post. This post has a list of my TOP 3 to TOP 5 suggestions for you on how to keep yourself motivated while you are experiencing difficult times. I created a TOP 5 suggestion list for Latter-Day Saint Readers and I also created a TOP 3 suggestion list for Non-Member Readers.

The TOP 5 suggestions for Latter-Day Saint Readers

1. Seek a Priesthood Blessing:
If you know you can't cope or can't handle the difficult time alone and needing directions, I strongly encourage you to seek a Priesthood Blessing.

2. Pray Always:
Praying always will help you to come off conquer from Satan's temptations and helps you to have greater love for the Saviour and Heavenly Father.

Heavenly Father will always be waiting for you to pray to him about anything. Anything can be any concerns you are currently facing or any questions that you have including asking for forgiveness or seeking answers and revelations from Heavenly Father.

3. Read Your Scriptures:
Reading scriptures will help you to feel peace and happiness. Many things mentioned in The Book of Mormon relates to our lives somehow.

4. Go to the Temple with a current Temple Recommend:
If you have a current Temple Recommend and if you are worthy to participate the Lord's work, I strongly encourage you to go to the Temple and attend sessions. I have a promise for you, if you go to the Temple during your difficult time, you will be able to feel peace, comfort and happiness while you are there. While you are there, you can decide to not think about your difficult time and focus 100% to the Lord and his love for you.

5. Read LDS General Conference Talks that focuses on Atonement, Comfort, Hope, and Strength topics: General Conference talks are amazing. and it is great counsel of talks from Quorum of the 12 Apostles, Quorum of the 70 and Leaders in the Church.
The TOP 3 suggestions for Non-Member Readers

1. Get to know Jesus Christ for who is he and for what he has done for us:
If you get to know for who Jesus Christ is and for what he has done for you, would make you feel peace and comfort. One of the major things that he has done that touches my heart is he suffered for not only for own his sins, he suffered for everyone's sins including mine and yours. He knows how it feels like when we go through trails, struggles, challenges, roadblocks and other things throughout our lives.

2. Start a conversation with a family member or a friend or to someone who would care:
You can choose to start a conversation with someone that you know who would care about you and talk back to you. You can even organise sometime when you and that someone can catch up sometime.

3. Read motivate quotes. More importantly, read LDS General Conference Talks that focuses on Atonement, Comfort, Hope, and Strength topics: General Conference talks are amazing. and it is great counsel of talks from Quorum of the 12 Apostles, Quorum of the 70 and Leaders in the Church.

Stay Tuned until next time.
